This book is near and dear to my heart for several reasons.

1. I love this lady.  She is the nicest, kindest, most thoughtful, witty, funny, talented, understanding, beautiful, friendliest, best blogging friend ever. (Have you stalked her blog, Bake at 350?)

2. Her talent, creativity, and ability to teach others are second to none.  This book, Decorating Cookies: 60+ Designs for Holidays, Celebrations & Everyday is perfection.  The writing is engaging, the cookie designs are unique and beautiful, and the tutorials are easy to understand.  Bridget sets you up to WIN!

3.  She let me be in it.  The whole reason I started this baking blog was because of cookies.  The whole reason I pursued a baking blog was because of Bridget!  She was the first, remains one of the best, and I could not be more honored to be a part of her first book.

I really cant say enough fantastic things about Bridget and her book!  I can see her being pursued by the best:  the Today Show, Rachel Ray, Bon Appetite, the Food Network… if its big time foodies they are going to want to feature her.  As a matter of fact, did you know the Pioneer Woman had Bridget out to her ranch to teach a cookie class?

TODAY you can get a copy of this highly anticipated book.  You can order it from Amazon or Barnes and Noble.  (And I highly recommend you do!  This is the book your friends will be talking about over coffee and your mom will ask you if you have seen yet!)

I am also giving away a copy here today!  You will win a copy and Bridget’s new book as well as a $50 Gift Card for Amazon.  I just assume you will want to buy some for your friends!

Not only did Bridget momentarily lose her mind and let me be a part of her book, but she then regained her mind and also included these fantastically talented cookie mavens!

Gail from One Tough Cookie

Callye from Sweet Sugarbelle

Meaghan from The Decorated Cookie

Marian from Sweetopia

I know I am going to be first in line at Bridget’s book signing.  Heck, I might follow her around the country on her book tour! 😉

Since today is the official launch of Bridgets book, she also has a little giveaway on her site.  And when I say little I mean HUGE!  Stop by Bake at 350 to win the MOST beautiful KitchenAid Mixer!!

I have never decorated a cookie, but have decorated cakes. I would love to get this book to get over my fear of cookie decorations.
