Over the course of about 15 minutes this morning, the kids and I created a craft page. I bought a roll of brown packing paper a while back, thinking I could put in under the kids coloring pages and crafts to save my kitchen table. Turns out it works just as well as the craft paper.
Colton and Parker seem to really enjoy tracing lately. So I traced out the alphabet and some shapes and some words. Then I added some puffy letter that are stickers and some different colors.
The kids have been playing at the table most of the day, and learning along the way.
And for lunch, we dined on fresh popped popcorn and milk.
Good times.
I love this! Good job Mommy!! (The pictures are so good too)
With Butter? What a fun and creative thing to do.
I really like this idea:) Gonna have to let my 2 year old twins do this!
Oh how I remember the days. You are sooooo very creative. Hoping this finds you happy, healthy and enjoying your Everyday my friend. Take care and may God continue blessing you and yours always,
Katie
I love that idea – and it looks so pretty too.
Convinced my kids would just scribble all over it, but yours look quite restrained (in a good way!!)
Your so sweet! Thank you:)
Your kind words on my FA blog really meant a lot to me, thank you:)
Sounds like fun…it is so easy to encourage toddlers to learn. Sometimes I wish I could spend more time with my littlest ones, but teaching a first grader takes up some of my time. Summer is coming, though.
That is such a great idea! And really affordable too.
Thanks again for stopping by on my SITS day!
How fun is that?! I love it!!!
This would be a great thing to help occupy kids at various church functions: fellowships, baby showers, Bible studies.
Thanks for sharing it!
That is really cool! Isn’t it neat how they can have fun all afternoon with something like that? P.S. I like orange juice with my popcorn! lol
love this.great job.
Cheers!
me thinks the mommy had fun too.
How fun is that? When I was a preschool teacher, I would have LOVED that idea! I’ll be passing it on to both moms AND preschool teachers that are friends of mine. Thanks so much for sharing a great idea!
See? You have it ALL down. You need no help my friend!
Hi there!
I love this idea! My only thought, from a Mommy that has “been there”, is that if you teach them to write in all capitals you then have to un-teach it later. Blessings
This is a great idea! Very good, A of F! Did you pour the popcorn in a bowl and then put the milk over it? That’s how my mom loved it … and we had it a lot as kids!
