This cake is a combination of my Original Rose Cake (video tutorial) and my Original Hydrangea Cake.

  1. If I were a princess to be I would totally call on you to make my cake – and I would choose this one indeed. So beautiful!

  2. Oh Amanda, I LOVE your cake!!! And I am very engaged in the Royal Wedding this Friday! I love how you integrated two different florals; it’s MORE than Royal Wedding worthy and our two royal lovebirds on Friday would be absolutely thrilled to dig in!!! Will be having a simple wedding party at my home starting at 3am – with full tele on, so it’s going to be exciting as we all tune in and pop the bubbly before 5 am. Can’t wait! Thanks for sharing your GORGEOUS Royal Wedding cake with us. Now, someone will just HAVE to say, “I Do!” when seeing this beauty! How about you make one for my second honeymoon? (same handsome guy) and he LOVES cake! xo

  3. This is so sweet of you!! I’m getting on Friday too and this almost made me tear up! You are so sweet! I’m sending you hugs! ♥

  4. nom nom nom. those cakes look yummy! I’m not having another wedding anytime soon but I could eat those up! seriously, I’m really craving cake right now. thanks :/

  5. I’ve been reading for a while, but thought it was about time I commented! Beautiful cake, as all your creations are. One day I’d like to get round to trying to make the rose cake myself but most of the time there’s just me and my husband to eat my creations, which means most of the time I eat most of my creations – not good for my teeth! Thank you for your delicious blogging!

  6. i won’t lie–it’d suck to have one’s wedding on the same day as royalty. overshadowed much? it’s nice of you to dedicate this cake to those souls. 🙂

  7. Its beautiful. My son has asked me to make his wedding cake – said it would mean a lot to him. He is getting married next year. After having a full blown panic attack and laughing nervously for five minutes, I agreed. Maybe if I try to make yours every weekend for the next year I can pull it off. Maybe…
