She has 90,000+ twitter followers and over 160,000 facebook followers.  And now, she has written a wonderful book called The Money Saving Mom’s Budget.

There is a reason that she is so popular among moms.  She is a mom.  And she knows exactly what struggles we face on a daily basis.

Her book speaks not only to the home that needs some fiscal organization, but to the tired housewife that just needs a little relief.  Crystal will help you to not only streamline your budget but your entire home!

She even gets into the hot topic of extreme couponing and tells you how you can be like those money saving moms on TV!

But thats not the best part.

Crystal has pledged to donate 100% of her profits to Compassion International.

One Hundred percent.

Talk about amazing.

Truly, if you want to be inspired and encouraged, read about how her book is changing lives in some huge ways.

My favorite way to save money is line drying my clothes. I did an experiment once and found that I save over $50.00 a month just by line drying our clothes and since we live in Florida I get to do that for quite a few months. Yay!
Thanks for the chance to win.

To save money, I clip coupons. I’ve been doing it since college – while my friends were playing video games, I’d go to Rite Aid and stock up on the free items after rebate. They never understood why I had so many bottles of shampoo and razors, haha! Now I still clip coupons and watch for sales. I think it really helps my husband and I to feel like we’re living large on a small budget.

Let’s see…using coupons, watching sale ads at the local grocery store and stockpiling, never eating out and asking ourselves…is it a want or a need. Surprising how much you put down when you do that!! :)

  4. says

I like to save money on food by couponing. Also, I have started planning my errands all at one time instead of spread out to save on gas…it has shot up in cost that it is something that I have to watch now too!

  5. Kristina says

I try using coupons as much as I can. I shop mainly at discount stores, but still have a hard time staying under budget.

  6. says

My favorite way to save money is to ask myself seriously if this is a need or a want. Most of the time I can tell myself I don’t need it!

  7. says

I like to use the money I saved by using coupons and put that into a savings account or use it to snowball a debt…now if I would do that a little more regularly, I would be in good shape.

  8. Stephanie says

I use coupons and look out for sales, but I really am having a difficult time saving as much as I should be.

  9. Jackie says

I too have a hard time saving – we use coupons and keep a “change jar” that I dump my change wallet in on a weekly basis (plus anything that jingles from the dryer)

My new favorite way to save is to shop with my friends. With the gas prices getting so high we try to pick a day when we can go together to save on gas and when we buy in bulk to save money we can divide it up. Often when one of us make a trip with our family or without the others we will have each other pick up items.
The place where we all do the majority of our shopping is a 35 minute drive and while a round trip used to cost less, it is around $15 for gas to get there and back, but our local grocery store and convenient store are quite a bit more expensive, so the trip is still worth it.
We actually avoid a lot of spontaneous buys this way because one of us will have it and be willing to share or will point out that we have tried something and it isn’t all that. Group shopping is fun, turns a chore into something fun and we can challenge each other to find the best deals :)

My favorite way to save is by having my credit union make automatic deposits from my paycheck every week, dispersed into special savings accounts ie: regular savings, kids savings, Christmas, Vacation, etc. I also have bigger payments deposited on certain dates for car savings ( the same I was paying on my car, which I paid off) and emergency savings ( the same I was paying on my home loan which I paid off)

  12. Caterina Mangano says

I try to plan any shopping trips (lists, coupons, sale items) and keep closely to it. Money Saving Mom really helps out so much.
This book looks great. Thanks for the chance to win,

I use coupons. I lost my job when I was 6 months pregnant and have been using coupons before coupons were “cool”! Coupons have enabled me to stay home with my 2 boys – I never planned to be a stay at home mom, but God had other plans! Thanks for the giveaway!

I save money by doing coupons, earn free money ( and items) from doing swagbucks and coke rewards, I buy clearance and thrift store it!

  15. Nicole says

We save money by swapping clothes, toys, books, shoes, etc with other families in our playgroup. It really helps to not have to buy so much for 2 active boys. And, when the boys have outgrown things, I pass them right on to others to help them save money also. I am a coupon clipper and have registered for just about every “save money” site there is. I love Groupon and and, of course, moneysavingmom! Anyway, our budget is tight, but I admit I am not great at sticking to it. I grew up in a different world where it wasn’t a big deal to just buy something you wanted. But, it’s come to a point where I need to learn how to change my mindset and cut back on things that I think are necessary and stick to the budget. I’ll take any help I can get!

my favourite way to save money is to buy 2nd hand items esp clothes. I don’t remember the last time I bought something at a clothing department store for me *(except underwear, socks etc)
