Its really a BATCMB sandwhich. But I have never been known for my attention to detail.
I am at my folks right now… and have taken about 600 pictures that I cant wait to share. Its been such a fun few days for me and the kids!
But until I get home and can upload all those pics I was hoping you would indulge me. See… I may not have mentioned this before… but I sorta love to eat.

I made this sandwich about a month ago, and I have not stopped thinking about it since then.
Its pretty much now my favorite sandwich of all time. The only thing I might change is the bread. A wonderfully savory onion roll would be fantastic here… or maybe even sourdough.
Hummmmm. Cant wait to try some different options and report back to ya.

*Super quick tip: I always bake my bacon in the oven! Comes out crispy and delicious!
I have never been one of those girls like wanted a big thick slice of avocado on my sandwich… I always thought the texture was slimy and the color unappetizing… but I have been so wrong.
(and thats the last time I will be telling you that, although probably not the last time I will actually be wrong. Just sayin)
Try it. They are super cheap right now. And here is a great video on how to cut them. I do it this way every time now.

P.S. I made this one day as I was making BLT’s (minus the L, I try not to eat lettuce) for my family and just happened to have some chicken and avocado on hand. But after googling bacon avocado sandwich, I see that is has been around forever and many talented people before me conceptualized it. So! Yet again, I realize that I totally lack the creativity it takes to create original recipes.
Have you been making anything like this already and for years and totally forgot to tell me? I forgive you. But dont let it happen again. 🙂
