How-to-cope-with-winter-cold0

Here in the wonderful state of Minnesota, we skipped my favorite season.

Fall.

There are no glorious warm days of 70 degree weather that turn into cuddle with your sweety nights in front of a toasty fire.

Its just cold.

And gloomy.

And drizzly.

Is it to early for S.A.D.?

Oh, I’m sorry. I don’t know if I could handle that weather…getting so cold so quickly. Or lots of rain, I couldn’t do that either.

  • Kristin Smith says:

I agree…it IS cold and dreary here in the great state of South Dakota too. I am NOT ready for winter and gloves and scraping windows and school late starts! Maybe November will prove different than October and we will have a warm Thanksgiving!! A girl can hope right?! ๐Ÿ™‚
The hot chocolate looked good though! ๐Ÿ™‚

Same here in Ohio. We went from 70’s straight to the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s. I actually had to go buy a winter coat and some thick, fuzzy socks this evening. What a wimp I am! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Jessica @ How Sweet It Is says:

Ohmigosh I can’t believe that weather already. I kind of feel the same here in Pittsburgh. I am shocked at how fast it came. On Saturday Im celebrating my first wedding anniversary and I remember last year on the day it was 80 and sunny. Now it is 50 and 30 degrees in the morning!

  • Kim @ A Fist Full Of Dandelions says:

I’m bracing myself for a cold winter! I have a feeling about it.

  • Barb says:

Wish I could send you a little of our warmth. It was in the 90’s today. Hurry Fall!

  • denise says:

hmmm…i think you need to come visit us in in san diego where we really don’t have seasons (i’m not complaining)…it was that perfect 70ish degrees crisp air fall day here today. it would be fun to visit you one of these days and have my children experience snow!

  • Jenny says:

I LOVE this post…it’s so true for me too. I love fall, and your right, it’s gone. ๐Ÿ™‚ We have a chance of snow flurries this weekend, but I also love winter. Living in the midwest is grand, isn’t it. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Christina says:

I am so sorry, but I must admit. I am quite envious of you! I am in texas and sweating. I would take sweaters and snow ANY day!
Stay warm! I hope you have a fabulous day!!

  • sheri says:

Don’t feel bad. It is still in the high 90’s here in Houston. And we don’t get the pretty color change of the leaves either.

  • Jolene says:

I’m with you! I already told my hubby I will need to tan this winter…I’m already SAD! Literally SAD that fall was skipped! Doesn’t God know us Minnesotans NEED our fall for bon fires and brisks walks on the fallen leaves???

  • Seasonal Affective Disorder says:

Dont worry you are not the only one suffering.. I’m with you.. Cool pics.
