And you know there's gonna be some pictures too.
700 Number of miles traveled by two adults and three kids between Wednesday and Sunday of last week.
5 Number of grandparents visited in that time. Including the kids' great–greatgrandma. And that's only on my side of the family!
1498 Number of pictures taken in April.
500 Number of pictures deleted for being to dark or too blurry.
42 Number of times in the last 5 days I have desperately wished someone would teach me how to use my camera.
This is my Grandma Audrey meeting my baby Audrey for the first time.
I love seeing them together… and little Audrey just adored her great grandma!
The matriarch of the family, the kids' great-great grandma Inga. She had fallen just a few minutes before we arrived and was rushed to the ER for x-rays. We sat and cried together…she was so happy to meet Audrey and see the boys and we were so happy so was ok.
I'm sorry about the terrible editing. I kinda edited some pictures and not others. I need photo-shop.
Chad had fun playing with the kids in grandpa Kenny's yard. That's Colton flying high.
And then it was Parkers turn… l love how his feet are perfectly horizontal to the ground.
I'll leave you with this thought.
Sometimes when I get gas I have to go to one of those huge gas complexes that has 47 pumps and a grocery convenience store attached. I normally pay outside, but this time I was parched so I had to run in and get a water. I made a mental note of my pump number in case they asked.
I got up to the counter and told the cashier, "Just the water and gas. And I am number 1."
"Well," he smiled, "its good to see those self help tapes are working for you."
Great GREAT Grandma??? How cool is that??!!
And when you started talking about getting gas I, uh, thought you were talking about intestinal problems. So I got a laugh out of it before you even got me to the cashier’s comment. LOL
That cashier literally made me laugh out loud. LOL! 🙂
Sometimes when I get gas …
I was thinking you were gonna tell me a little TMI there!
That’s hilarious about the cashier! i laughed out loud too!
Hey, love the photos! Chad gets some serious air time… gotta love a funny clerk, or funny anyone. Let’s get the kids together sometime?
came back here from your post on your Father’s birthday. As I read it, I couldn’t help the English teacher in me wanting to point out a mistake.
“…his feet are horizontal to the ground”. I think the word you were looking for is “perpendicular”
