AND THE WINNER IS……………

filed under: Miscellaneous on April 15, 2008

…..EVERYONE!

Let me please start off by telling you that you are ALL winners.  Seriously.  The whole point of this contest was for you to take a moment and think about God.  And you guys came through with flying colors!

(And for the record, I feel totally and completely inadequate at judging this contest.  Seriously…who am I to judge who God is to you? Everyone is 100% right.)

I was LOVING reading all of your submissions!  I had to re-read many of them to absorb all of your words!  I love the honestly and vulnerability that we all seem to share when speaking about God.   I love the expressions, the great words you all used, the detail and effort that you put forth…truly this was such a blessing to me!

I wish I could send out gift cards and books to every single one of you… but I have a feeling the Lord is looking at things a little differently!  You spent time thinking about Him, honoring Him with your words, and I believe He felt invited into your lives!  That being said, I know there is no monetary reward that compare to a closer and more intimate relationship with God!

"The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe."

-Proverbs 18:10

God is love, he is grace, he is power, and he is everything that is righteous.  I love him because he first loved me, and with his love I fear nothing.  I trust in the lord with all my heart and for this he keeps my life in great focus.   He is my strength when I am weak, and he is my light when I am strong.

Jessica wins a $25 gift card to Outback Steakhouse!
