A Day to Jump for Joy

filed under: Miscellaneous on July 9, 2009

"Colton!  Stop jumping!"

"Colton!?! Did you hear me?"

"Colton!  Stop it!  You are shaking the whole house!"

"Please don't make me come up there!"

"Colton!  PLEASE STOP!  You are shaking the WHOLE HOUSE!"

"No mommy…"

Colton says as he delicately wraps two small hands around my face.  He looks into my eyes and leans in to whisper…

"..the world."

all i can think to say is….YES! Right on!! (and i’m not even sure why i feel that way but that is immediately what i thought!)

I have to say I agree with Olivia. I think that is why Jesus said we should all have the faith of a child. They don’t get caught up in their limitaions, but believe that anything is possible. Praying he stays as confident in Christ as he is in his ability to shake the world!

PS: The world sure stops dead in its tracks when our children hold our face in their tiny, God-breathed hands! They sure know how to “get us” for sure!
