Is it wrong that I totally get that? If that is wrong…I don’t want to be right. Sorry, it just came out! ๐Ÿ™‚
Glad you had fun on your drive. That’s pretty amazing with three kids in the car. I love your creativity in posting. AND how you can put pics of your beautiful kids in even when the post is not related. So cool.

Doug read your post and says that you draw a good “Rock Out” hand. Just thought you should know. ๐Ÿ™‚

OK, when I first started reading, I was thinking banging your head – like when you’re not experiencing enough of “that” virtue. And I was totally with you.
As for the rocking thing, well, I’m more of an easy listening girl. But I’m glad you had fun in the car. Even if you did almost cause an accident. *grin*

It is a great song. The beat is awesome. Some songs just have those catchy tunes. Love it. I totally could make it about Jesus too. Great post.

    Amanda,
I love this song & what a creative way to post – I love it!
I am a product of the 80’s and my hubby and son are both head-bangers, so it is kinda “par for the course” around here. It’s great to rock out once in awhile – I do it all the time in the car.

Oh friend!! We have a Christian Rock station down here and I can give you the names of at least 10 good Christian Hard Rock Bands!!! Seriously…Spoken is one of them. You’ve got to check out their version of Time After Time. Family Force 5 is another. Pillar, too!
Lifehouse though…really? I saw them in concert once. And by ‘saw’ I mean I slept right through their set – they were the most boring live preformers I’ve ever seen. That IS a good song though.
    …and a good rock hand!

  • Laura says:

Love that song! I have gotten my fair share of weird looks while rockin out in the car too! ๐Ÿ™‚ Love the hand!

  • Angela Nazworth says:

I love this song and am pretty sure it was written for God…I think all or some of the members of LH are Christians and some of their songs are written to God. I Love LifeHouse. This was a cute story too…and I agree that you can praise and worship in many different ways…and I also think it is OK to rock out to non Christian songs too from time to time. I’m not saying break out 9inch nails (I promise you I could not name one song of theirs). ๐Ÿ™‚

way back in 2001 or so when i first came across this song a good friend told me it was about Jesus! well, that was how he interpreted it and i always have too!

  • Christina says:

I thought Lifehouse was a christian band? I asumed this was about God.
