Kings Clubhouse

filed under: Miscellaneous on April 8, 2008

This morning I took the boys to The Kings Clubhouse at my church.  Its an ‘organized’ playtime with anyone who wants to attend.  You don’t have to go to the church or even know anyone who goes there.

Colton and Parker had a wonderful time.  They played games and ran in races and used flashlights in the dark and made ‘umbrellas’ and listened to one of the moms read a book.

Parker even tried to convince this young lady to go for a ride on his sweet custom wheels.

Colton and Ella (whom we just met today) making their umbrella.

I don’t know if Colton lined up next to the ladies, or they all lined up next to him… either way this picture makes me giggle.

Chad has a business meeting tonight so we are going to the ‘city’ to meet him for dinner.  They are very few options in this particular city, so I basically had it narrowed down to Applebee’s and Pizza Hut.  I chose Pizza Hut.  For some reason, Applebee’s just doesn’t do it for me anymore.

Then home to bath and bed.  Its been a good day!  Colton even reminded me to pray at lunch.  Could I have been more proud??  I think not.

God bless-

Hi Amanda – I read one of your comments on and just wanted to tell you that we are living our own version of ranch life! And it sounds a whole lot more exciting when you throw those ranch words in front of everything! “Wreck”, “Going Western”, “Cowboy”, “Pitchen” The lingo is where it is!
My herds running wild, I need to corral ’em before they burn the barn down!
    Blessings, in Jesus’ Name!

that Kids Kingdom sounds neat; I like when churches do things like that as an outreach in the community!!
I like Applebee’s; we don’t have any of them close by to where we live so I don’t go there so much but when we lived in Montana, it was one of our favorite places to go (and choices there were limited so that was one of the nicer places to go, LOL)
    enjoy the day
