"Take pride in how far you’ve come, have faith in how far you can go."

My hope for today is that everyone takes a step back and looks at their life.

But not just any old way… look back at your life with joy.  With hilarity.  With satisfaction.

You have come so far.  You have overcome obstacles that would crush many.

You have actualized miracles.

You have influenced lives.

You have made a difference-in the good times and bad.

You have fought for what you believed, and often, you then stood breathless and fragile beneath the loving gaze of the Lord.

Looking back at your past with contentment is the only way to do it.

Why have regret?  You know better now.  You can do better.

Why feel sadness?  You have already suffered the pain, let it teach you.

Embrace this day with confidence.

I love you.

But more importantly, GOD loves you.  Unconditionally.

And today… knowing all He does about you, He is proud of you.

I think of the people that have touched my life along the way…family, friends, spouses, children… and I am so thankful that they are learning right along with me.  I am so thankful that the Lord, in His perfect timing, allows us to grow together.

He knows what the final result will be… and I bet it will be glorious.
