Reese's Cake Mix Cookies

Reese's Cake Mix Cookies are cookies made with chocolate cake mix and topped with chopped mini Reese's peanut butter cups.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 box (15.25 ounces) chocolate cake mix
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Topping

  • 10 mini Reese's peanut butter cups, roughly chopped (or 5 large)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add butter. Beat with a hand mixer until creamy.
  • Add cake mix, eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Continue mixing until combined.
  • Using a 1½ tablespoon scoop, drop dough onto the prepared cookie sheet about 2 inches apart (6-8 cookies per baking sheet). Use the bottom of a glass to slightly flatten each cookie.
  • Top each cookie with about a teaspoon of the chopped Reese's peanut butter cups.
  • Bake 8-10 minutes, or until cookies are just set on the edges.
  • Allow cookies to cool before serving.
