Slush Mixture
- 4 cups water
- 1 ½ cups (300 g) granulated sugar
- 5 cups cranberry juice
- 3 cups orange juice
- 2 cans (12 ounces each) frozen lemonade concentrate
To Serve
- 4 liters cherry lemon-lime soda, like Cherry 7-Up™
- fresh cranberries, for garnish
- orange slices, for garnish
Slush Mixture
In a large pot over high heat, add water and sugar. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Remove from heat. Add cranberry juice, orange juice, and lemonade concentrate. Stir until the lemonade concentrate has melted. You will have about 4 quarts of the mixture.
Allow the mixture to cool completely. Once cool, pour into a large freezer-safe container with a tight-fitting lid. (I prefer an ice cream container.) Place in the freezer to freeze overnight.
