Iced Orange Creamsicle Milk
Orange Creamsicle Milk is a cool and refreshing orange-flavored milk poured over crushed ice and freshly sliced oranges for an orange creamsicle taste.
- crushed ice
- 1 medium orange, sliced
- 2 cups whole milk
- 4 tablespoons vanilla syrup* (see notes for more information)
- ½ teaspoons orange extract
Fill each glass halfway with crushed ice. (The more ice you use the more diluted the drink will be, so start with a small amount.)
Slice an orange and put about three slices in each glass.
In a large bowl or pitcher, stir together the milk, vanilla syrup, and orange extract. Pour half of the milk mixture into each glass and serve.
What is Vanilla Syrup?
Vanilla Syrup is what is adding to flavored coffee drinks. If you have ever ordered a Vanilla Latte they added vanilla syrup to it. It is basically a concentrated version of simple syrup with vanilla flavoring or vanilla bean added to it. If you don't want to make simple syrup you can also use maple syrup is a substitute.
