Chocolate Frosting Rim
- ¼ cup (1/2 stick or 57g) unsalted butter, room temperature
- ¾ cup (94g) confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 splash vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Chocolate Milkshake
- 4 scoops ice cream
- ½ cup (122.5g) milk
- ¼ cup chocolate syrup
Topping
- 1 large brownie, divided and cut into pieces
Chocolate Frosting Rim
To make the frosting, mix together the butter, confectioners' sugar, cocoa, vanilla, and heavy whipping cream in a medium bowl. Mix it together by hand until smooth and creamy.
Use a knife to help spread chocolate frosting around rim of glass.
Roll the frosted rim in mini chocolate chips and set aside as you make the milkshake.
Chocolate Milkshake
Place the ice cream, milk, and chocolate syrup in a blender. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth. It should be thick, but you can add more milk if you want it thinner.
Pour the milkshake into each chocolate rimmed glass and top with brownie pieces and more mini chocolate chips. (optional)
