Ingredients

Chocolate Frosting Rim

  • ¼ cup (1/2 stick or 57g) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • ¾ cup (94g) confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 splash vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Chocolate Milkshake

  • 4 scoops ice cream
  • ½ cup (122.5g) milk
  • ¼ cup chocolate syrup

Topping

  • 1 large brownie, divided and cut into pieces

Instructions

Chocolate Frosting Rim

  • To make the frosting, mix together the butter, confectioners' sugar, cocoa, vanilla, and heavy whipping cream in a medium bowl. Mix it together by hand until smooth and creamy.
  • Use a knife to help spread chocolate frosting around rim of glass.
  • Roll the frosted rim in mini chocolate chips and set aside as you make the milkshake.

Chocolate Milkshake

  • Place the ice cream, milk, and chocolate syrup in a blender. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth. It should be thick, but you can add more milk if you want it thinner.
  • Pour the milkshake into each chocolate rimmed glass and top with brownie pieces and more mini chocolate chips. (optional)
