Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 ¼ cups (61.25 g) whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, or more or less to taste
  • 4 bread bowls, carved out with the center bread removed

Topping/Filling

  • 4 cups fresh fruit, divided (I used blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, cherries, and raspberries)
  • whipped topping
  • pure maple syrup
  • confectioners' sugar

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Lightly spray a small piece of parchment paper with cooking spray and place it into the basket of your air fryer.
  • Working one bread bowl at a time, dip it into the egg mixture. You do not need to soak it, but make sure to coat all sides.
  • Place the coated bread bowl into the lined basket of the air fryer. Air fry at 360°F for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Fill the bread bowl with about a cup of fresh fruit. Top with whipped topping, maple syrup, and confectioners' sugar. Repeat with the remaining bread bowls.
  • Serve immediately.
