- 1 cup coarsely chopped pretzel twists
- ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 container (12 ounces) whipped topping, thawed
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
Spread chopped pretzels in a single layer onto the lined baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes, or until toasted.
Allow the pretzels to cool completely (about 10-15 minutes).
While the pretzels are cooling, add cream cheese and sugar to a large mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer, beat the mixture until creamy. Fold in pineapple and whipped topping. Chill until ready to serve.
Just before serving, fold about ¾ of the pretzels into the fluff mixture. Use the remaining pretzels for garnish.
