Rim
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
Drink
- ½ cup fresh blackberries
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice, about 1 large lemon, juiced
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 cup Moscato d'Asti wine
- 1 cup lemon-lime soda, like Sprite
- ice
Set out two small plates. On the first plate, add the lemon juice. Add the granulated sugar to the second plate.
Wet the rim of a lowball glass with lemon juice. Then dip the rim in the sugar, turning to coat. Repeat with the other glasses. Set aside.
To a cocktail shaker, add fresh blackberries, 2 tablespoons sugar, and lemon juice. Muddle the mixture to release the blackberry juices.
To the shaker, add Moscato and ice. Shake until chilled.
Fill the glasses with ice. Strain the blackberry mixture into the glass until about ¾ full.
Top each with lemon-lime soda. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh blackberries. Cheers!
