- 4 ounces whiskey
- 2 ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice, about 1–2 lemons
- 2 ounces pure maple syrup
- crushed ice
- lemons, sliced, for garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
To the shaker, add the whiskey, lemon juice, and maple syrup.
Secure the lid and shake vigorously until the mixture is well chilled.
Fill two lowball glasses with crushed ice.
Strain the cocktail mixture into the prepared glasses.
Garnish with a slice of lemon and serve immediately.
