Ingredients

  • 4 ounces whiskey
  • 2 ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice, about 1–2 lemons
  • 2 ounces pure maple syrup
  • crushed ice
  • lemons, sliced, for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  • To the shaker, add the whiskey, lemon juice, and maple syrup.
  • Secure the lid and shake vigorously until the mixture is well chilled.
  • Fill two lowball glasses with crushed ice.
  • Strain the cocktail mixture into the prepared glasses.
  • Garnish with a slice of lemon and serve immediately.
