This Cherry Frosted Lemonade is a fun, icy drink that tastes like summer in a glass. Made with cherry ice cream and frozen lemonade concentrate, it blends into a thick, creamy, slushy drink that’s sweet, tangy, and super refreshing.
Let the frozen lemonade concentrate sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or microwave for 20 to 30 seconds (if in a microwave-safe container) until slightly softened and easy to scoop or pour.
Add the lemonade concentrate and cherry ice cream to a high-powered blender.
Blend on high for 30 to 60 seconds, until smooth and thick like a milkshake.
If the mixture is too thick, add a small splash of milk or cherry juice and blend again. If you want a frostier texture, add a handful of ice cubes and blend until combined.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh cherries or lemon slices if desired.
Notes
*Any cherry ice cream will work here. Store-bought is often called Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream and works beautifully in this recipe.
