This Cookie Salad Trifle is layers of vanilla pudding with pineapples and mandarin oranges, whipped cream, and crushed fudge stripe cookies. It takes my popular cookie salad and transforms it into a triple threat of deliciousness!

Ingredients

  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup (245 g) buttermilk
  • 16 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
  • 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, well-drained
  • 1 can (11 ounces) mandarin oranges, well-drained
  • 20 fudge stripe cookies, crushed, divided

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to combine the instant vanilla pudding mix and buttermilk until thick.
  • Fold in half of the thawed whipped topping.
  • Add the crushed pineapple and mandarin oranges to the pudding mixture, stirring until well combined.
  • Spoon one-third of the pudding mixture into a trifle dish.
  • Top the pudding layer with one-third of the remaining whipped topping and one-third of the crushed cookies.
  • Repeat the layers two more times, ending with a layer of crushed cookies on top.
  • Serve immediately.
