- ½ cup (59 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup (62.5 g) confectioners’ sugar
- ½ cup (34 g) powdered milk
- 1 teaspoon espresso powder
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
To Serve
- 1 cup eggnog, warmed (or half eggnog, half whole milk)
- 3 tablespoons eggnog hot cocoa mix
- whipped cream, for topping
- nutmeg, for sprinkling
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, confectioners’ sugar, powdered milk, espresso powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt until fully combined.
Transfer the mix to an airtight jar or container. Store in a cool, dry place for up to 1 month.
To Make a Mug of Eggnog Hot Cocoa
Warm 1 cup of eggnog (or half eggnog, half whole milk for a lighter version) in a small saucepan or microwave.
Stir in 3 tablespoons of the cocoa mix until fully dissolved and smooth.
Top with whipped cream and a light sprinkle of nutmeg. Serve immediately.
