Ingredients

  • ¾ cup (88.5 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup (62.5 g) confectioners’ sugar
  • ½ cup (34 g) powdered milk
  • 1 bag (8.10 ounces) Werther's originals, caramel hard candies, finely crushed (about 1 ¼ cups crushed candies)
  • ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt

For Serving

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, confectioners’ sugar, powdered milk, crushed hard caramels, and sea salt until evenly combined.
  • Transfer the mix to an airtight jar or container. Before each use, give the jar a quick stir or shake to redistribute the ingredients, as the crushed caramels may settle.

To Make a Mug of Hot Cocoa:

  • Stir 3 heaping tablespoons of mix into ¾ cup milk or hot water.
  • Add whipped cream and a drizzle of salted caramel sauce for an extra indulgent finish!
