They are one of my all-time favorites. But they could be better right? ๐Ÿ™‚

I love to tweak things in the search of the most fabulous wonderful yummy scrumptious cookie ever.

Start with a basic oatmeal cookie recipe.

(FYI this is the BEST basic oatmeal cookie recipe you will ever try hands down. HUGE flavor.)

To this add whatever you love!

I like to combine a 1/2 cup of rich and creamy organic peanut butter.

Then the really fun stuff.

I also had Heath chips.

And walnuts. (sometimes, and just for everyone else. *I* dont like nuts in cookies!)

And mini caramels.

  1. I have made a version of these before, so I was excited to try these. Did anyone else have a weird aftertaste? I almost can the baking soda or something. I did sub unsalted butter instead of shortening.

  2. Love all your recipes, cake, and cookies. I am new to your subscriptions, so I haven’t tried other recipes. But I will. Especially now that the holidays are coming up.

  3. Iโ€™ve been looking for a good cookie recipe outlet, Iโ€™ve finally found one. Iโ€™m excited to try all of the recipes!

  4. This is my standard method to get rid of sweets that don’t get eaten. Throw them in the cookies and all is well. (preferably choclaty sweets but you do you)

  5. I love this recipe to get rid of holiday candy, it would be SO much easier if you listed a suggested quantity of mix ins and peanut butter optional in the ingredients list!

  6. I love this recipe.very requested share too. In the ingredients list can you add the range of amounts of mix-ins? I send it to people and they get confused by having to read the body of your post to know how little or how much they can mix in. Thank you!
