Another year has come and gone.
So many things have changed since I first posted my Rose Cake on this day last year.
I had a baby.
Got a new job.
And have gotten to know some amazing people.
You guys.
Thanks for the support. The laughter. The challenges. The inspiration.

I had this cake stand- HAD as in past tense! I put too much on the glass shelves in my china cabinet and right after Christmas I heard a major crash and the shelf that held this cake stand along with so many other pretties CRASHED! We call it the great crystal disaster of 2011! Well, I couldn’t part with the base and my plans are to have it smoothed out and attach a platter to the top! I am going to make this heart cake and display it proudly on it!!! RIP beautiful stand! You are an inspiration to all of us decorator want -to -bes! Thank you!
