UPDATE: Tutorial here
Another year has come and gone.
So many things have changed since I first posted my Rose Cake on this day last year.
I had a baby.
Got a new job.
And have gotten to know some amazing people.
You guys.
Thanks for the support. The laughter. The challenges. The inspiration.
I am so thankful that you are willing to share some of yourself here.
So today (Feb. 1st) , on my thirty-fifth birthday, I want you to know that
You are my gift.
Thank you!
If you like this cake, you can see many more like it in my new book, Surprise-Inside Cakes! Almost all the cakes in my book have never been published before, so it’s all new tutorials and recipes!
This may be the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I can’t even imagine saying this, but this cake is too pretty I cannot fathom eating a slice. I just want to sit and stare at it… alllllll dayyyyyy longggggg.
We’re glad you’re in our world, too! By the way, my daughter’s 35th birthday is tomorrow, Feb. 2, and she’s sweet, too.
Happy Birthday! You share your birthday with one of my best friends, so that makes this day extra special! I hope you had a great day today. The cake looks beautiful, by the way. I love that tiny heart.
