Another year has come and gone.

So many things have changed since I first posted my Rose Cake on this day last year.

had a baby.

Got a new job.

And have gotten to know some amazing people.

You guys.

Thanks for the support.  The laughter.  The challenges.  The inspiration.

I am so thankful that you are willing to share some of yourself here.

So today (Feb. 1st) , on my thirty-fifth birthday, I want you to know that

  1. Wow! This is soo cute! I, too, hope that you will do a tutorial! I’ve been thinking really hard about how you’d have done this, but all I can come up with is that you found heart-shaped fruit roll-ups or something like that and baked them into the cake…

  2. Amanda- your blog is one of the first blogs I began reading a while back. While I do own a bakery, the best instruction on cake decoration is from great blogs, like yours.
