Animal Baby Shower Cookies

filed under: Miscellaneous on August 18, 2010

This must be the summer of babies, because I have been making Baby Shower Cookies like crazy.

This was theinspiration.

I went pretty literal.

These are hard to see… I used the light tan to write "Congratulations" around the edge of the 'Christina' cookies.

Will be back in a bit to share more cookies for a fun event I attended here in Minnesota!

*For these cookies I used my favorite sugar cookie recipe and special glaze icing.

As a huge childhood fan of animal crackers, I can verify that these animal cookies are simply spectacular! No, I have not yet tasted these awesome-looking treats…but I now have the recipe and desire to whip up a batch of my own.
