The theme for these cookies was pink, black, fun, and wedding stuff. The couples names are Beth and Scott and they are getting married on June 26th of this year. I’m so excited for them! Love weddings.

But, before all the serious business of that wedding happens, a fun and traditional little party is going to transpire.

Thats right, the bachelorette party.

I have to admit, I was pretty nervous for this order. See, I dont make… um… naughty stuff… so I thought I might be limited.

But I think I found something the bride will like.

For some reason this one just makes me *sigh* and ponder the joy of romance and love. 🙂

And then.

I did something sorta different.

I made a cookie that was not really what the client asked for.

Its not her colors.

Its not in the bachelorette theme as much as it should be…

I really hope she doesnt mind.

I just got the idea and went with it.

I’m so nervous!! I really hope they like it!

And I’m so excited to try this for other themes… birthdays, anniversaries, job promotions, new babies… really, anything!

Well. Maybe not funerals. Or audits. Or when your favorite dancer ever should have won Dancing with the Stars but instead came in second place.

Just sayin.

Maybe I can even dare to change up the colors a bit… we’ll see!

I used my Amazing Sugar Cookies recipe and my favorite icing recipe. Just click the links and follow the instructions to make your own beautiful cookies! I dare ya!~

A couple of you may have noticed that my pictures now say ‘i am baker’ right on them. Although I am flattered beyond belief, I have been finding out the many folks are taking my images and text without permission and posting it on their sites and blogs.

So! I have added the little logo to the bottom. I might change it up a bit… put the full website address, I dont know. I will have to play around! I know it can get annoying, so thank you for understanding! I will try to make it as inconspicuous as possible.

You can see more of these over at Project Weddings!

  1. AH! Stealing your cookies!!!! How shameful! But they are beautiful (and yummy) so I can see why they’re tempted. I like the pink logo, but I agree in the corner it can be cropped out… maybe a translucent one in the middle would be safer. I love the ‘fb’ idea too. Decorating question- when you spill and fill how do you get ‘just the right amount?’ Maybe my icing is a little thin?- I get spill over even when I think I shouldn’t… Or maybe I should use a larger tip for outlining? HELP!!!

  2. These are so awesome! I love the colors and the theme! I especially love the FB cookie. What a great idea!! Fantastic job and thanks for sharing!!

  3. You are *seriously* talented! I don’t think I could decorate a cookie that neatly if it was the size of Texas!
Love the wedding cake ones with the teeny couple on top–amazing! And the FB ones are super fun. Maybe you should make some twitter cookies #andmailthemtoallyourfollowers 🙂

  4. So so so so cute! All of em! I would definitely order the “Or when your favorite dancer ever should have won Dancing with the Stars but instead came in second place” cookies.
