You know you live in Minnesota when:

You have your air conditioning and your heat on in the same day.

And this happens in March.  And April.

That being said, the sky has been clearing and the sun shining and we have been out and about!

I love this picture.  I was just determined to get them to pose in front of the crazy dead tree… they were determined to represent their personalities through the simplest of gestures.

I love how these trees are totally bent in the midst of an unbent forest.

I almost deleted this picture… but then I looked at it a little closer.  It sorta looks like I added texture to it… but it is just natures bokeh.  Love that!

Life is good here.

Blogging is good.

There are SO many fun and exciting things going on but I dont dare say less I jinx myself.

But the next two months are going to be full of fun posts and maybe even a big giveaway and possibly an appearance or two.

What are you up to?

Share with your friends!

  1. Love the pic of your baby girl. 🙂
We’ve had crazy weather, here, too. Went to the beach on Wednesday, then had to turn the heat on a bit this morning because it was so chilly. I love that God had such a sense of humor!
Looking forward to all the exciting things you have coming up!

  2. I do love the pictures! It sounds like you could be here, but you didn’t talk about snow, so I guess not! 😉

  3. Can’t wait to see what you have up your apron sleeve. Do aprons have sleeves? I mean, my kids’ aprons do, but do adult aprons?

  4. You also know that you live in MN when you put on your winter coat in October when it turns 40 degrees and put on shorts in March when it turns 40 degrees. You totally know what I’m talking about!
Also, I love the pictures of your boys, but Audrey totally cracks me up! I love her wispy blond hair!

  5. Yay for good days! I love this time of year. I refuse to turn on the heat or airconditioning though. 🙂 My poor family lived three days with our house in the upper 70s and today it’s in the mid 60s. Brrr. I hate being cold.:)
Your pictures are so beautiful. The one of the kids in front of the tree is priceless. You are blessed and a blessing, sweet lady. 🙂

  6. I’m taking my daughter to her chosen college for an open house tomorrow…watch out, those sweet babies will be grown up before you know it! Geez, I sound like a grandma, lol. Just saying, enjoy them, and it seems as though you do! I’m in Maryland and the weather here is crazy, too. I just walked my dog and nearly froze, yesterday I put it off because it was so hot…have a great weekend, looking fwd to hearing about what’s going on with you 🙂

  7. I love how intent Audrey looks at getting that grass in her hands! 🙂 Adorable!!
    Have a wonderful weekend!!
    Kristin

  9. Love the pictures! You have beautiful kids! Great day today. Kids went to co-ops, we played at the park, went on a date with hubby tonight! I have some major cleaning to do before my in-laws come next Friday!! Other than that, I try not to plan too much ahead of time. Just trying to take it day by day!
