What is your favorite event?

Mine is Woman’s Beach Volleyball.  I have been a fan of Misty May Treanor and Kerri Walsh for about 10 years now!  And the fact that they are going for their third gold medal is amazing to me.

Today I am sharing a recipe for some healthy whole wheat pancakes over on the Food Network Blog!

  1. What adorable pancakes!

Also, I just saw your description on Food Network- “self-appointed president of the Committee to Get Ina Garten on Twitter” – love it! I fully support your committee’s work 🙂

  2. Lol, now some of those colours look a bit iffy! But very cool. Do you use gel colourings? I guess you do to get such bright shades?

    1. Yes. That needs to happen. Our kids would be best friends and you could encourage me to run more. 😉

  3. I am the most excited for swimming! my fellow Cal alumna, Natalie Coughlin is going to ROCK IT! These pancakes are the perfect way to wake up and celebrate the opening ceremony 🙂

  4. My oldest girl is volleyball all the way, it’s non stop volleyball around here. So I am sure we will be watching it. Its too hard for me to pick a Summer games favorite. Swimming, diving, gymnastics, soccer, track and field…all so amazing! Your pancakes are gold medal material.
