I really like orange and chocolate flavors together. Is this only 1/4 cup butter for the frosting? I have never seen such a small amount with this much powdered sugar.
Will try it this weekend. Btw, what to substitute for shortening? Thank You
I was wondering the same as another woman asking about the small amount of butter. Only 1/4 cup is a very small amount for buttercream icing.
Orange and chocolate are one of the best pairs for cakes for this time of year ! Will do ! Thank you so much !
Excuse me, how can i make The buttermilk?
Hola buenas tardes, me podrรญa decir por favor a que se refiere El tรฉrmino c se refiere a tazas?
Nice cake over all but the buttercream recipe is overly sweet and has a bad sugar:butter ratio.
A b**ch to ice well.
Thanks for the feedback! I have not tested this recipe in 6 years so this is a good reminder to do that. I will let you know if any changes are made!
I love this cake. It is moist and delicious. Just the right balance of chocolate and orange. I have made it by request from friends and family several times and it is always a crowd pleaser.
