What Are Peach Pie Bombs?

Peach Pie Bombs are little pockets of sweet peach filling wrapped in soft biscuit dough and cooked until golden. They are usually made in the air fryer (but I have also included oven instructions) for a quick, easy treat. It tastes like a mini peach pie you can eat with your hands. Top them with a simple glaze, and youโ€™ve got a super tasty peach dessert thatโ€™s bursting with peach flavor!

Ingredients & Substitutions

  • Biscuits: Look for a can of store-bought Pillsbury Grand biscuits for this recipe, but not the flaky variety. It makes this recipe extra easy, and they are air-fried to a nice golden brown. You could also make these with pie crust dough, puff pastry dough, or crescent roll dough. If using a different dough, cooking times may vary a bit.
  • Peach Pie Filling: The peach pie filling adds just the right amount of sweetness and fruity flavor. Plus, it keeps things simple!
  • Glaze: The simple, sweet glaze (just confectioners’ sugar and milk) adds the perfect finishing touch. I think it gives the pie bombs that bakery-style feel.

Delicious Flavor Variations For Pie Bombs

Once you see how easy the peach pie bombs are to make, you will want to try other flavors! I have cherry pie bombs and blueberry pie bombs you will love. You could also toss in some cinnamon or nutmeg for a warm, cozy twist. Or, even add a little cream cheese inside for a creamy surprise. The possibilities are endless and always delicious!

Can I Bake Peach Pie Bombs In The Oven?

Yes! If you donโ€™t have an air fryer, you can bake peach pie bombs in the oven at 375ยฐF for 15-17 minutes. Then, don’t forget about the glaze!

How to Store and Reheat Peach Pie Bombs

To keep your peach pie bombs fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. If you want them a little crispier, pop them back in the air fryer or oven at 350ยฐF for 3-5 minutes before serving. You can also reheat them in the microwave for about 20 seconds if youโ€™re in a hurry, but they wonโ€™t be as crispy that way.

Can I Freeze Pie Bombs?

Yes! To freeze, let the peach pie bombs cool completely, then place them in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until solid. Once frozen, transfer them to a freezer-safe bag or container. Theyโ€™ll keep well for up to 2 months. When youโ€™re ready to enjoy, bake or air fry them straight from frozen, just add a few extra minutes to the cooking time until heated through and golden.

If you're looking for an easy air fryer dessert that tastes like summer in every bite, these Peach Pie Bombs are it. They are made with buttery biscuit dough and sweet peach pie filling and come together fast!

Ingredients

Bombs

Glaze

  • 2 cups (250 g) confectioners' sugar
  • 4 to 5 tablespoons whole milk, room temperature

Instructions

  • Remove the biscuits from the can and carefully split each one into two layers. Press each layer of biscuit into a 4-inch circle. (You will have 16 circles.)
  • Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the peach pie filling into the center of each circle.
  • Fold the edges of the dough up and around the filling, pinching the seams together securely to seal. Gently shape each one into a ball, ensuring the dough is even in thickness all around.
  • Brush the tops and bottoms of the bombs with melted butter.
  • Spray the basket of your air fryer with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Place the pie bombs seam-side down into the air fryer basket, spacing them about 2 inches apart to allow for even cooking. (Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to work in batches.)
  • Air fry* at 330ยฐF for 7-8 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove the pie bombs from the air fryer to let them cool slightly. While they cool, prepare the glaze.
  • To make the glaze, combine the confectioners' sugar and milk in a medium mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth. Add more milk as needed to reach your desired consistency.
  • Using a fork, dip (or roll) each peach pie bomb in the glaze. Place them on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
  • Let the glaze firm up. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

*Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Follow the same instructions up until placing the peach pie bomb in the air fryer. Instead, place the peach pie bombs on the parchment-lined baking sheet.ย
  3. Bake for 15โ€“17 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. Let them cool slightly, then dip them in the glaze as directed.
