Some brides want a big bridal showers with all of their friends and lots of gifts and games.

And some prefer more intimate, family focused gatherings.

I wanted to make a very unique cake and treats for this special day.

A sweet cupcake for each guest.

This in itself would be a treat for any bride… for any brides family.

But it would be really nice if the bride wanted to honor her mom since it is so close to Mothers Day.

Remember our cake?

(you knew it was coming right?)

I sorta tried to make it special.

This was probably the hardest cake I have ever made.

But knowing how much it means to the recipient… yeah, its priceless.

Your cakes are amazing!!… more than just a baker. You do what the French call patisserie and the Germans call konditorei ~ ie really classy stuff. I’ve never seen one that you cut through and see a picture… can you cut through at any point and see that?… whatever it’s like it’s quite something.
I gave you a shout at mine ;->…

I just had to leave a post! I love, love, loveeee this cake! I recently found your blog and I am so hooked. I intend to ATTEMPT to make all of your creations (well at least the ones with a turorial….lol) I am totally bummed that there is no tutorial for this one. I hope (beg, plead and grovel) you make another one so you can show us how it is done. I tried to figure it out but it made my brain hurt.
