  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, using an electric mixer on medium-high speed, beat sugar, egg, and oil for 1 to 2 minutes or until fluffy.

  • Transfer cupcakes to a wire rack to cool.

  1. The last present I got was in June (for my b-day) my friend Lily gave me a cookbook about making desserts from the Farmer’s Market. She also got me the funniest card ever, which I have up at my desk and makes me laugh daily. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. The last present I got was a picture my daughter drew of her and I holding hands. She put it in a party bag and tied it with ribbon. The days of opening my bedroom door to find a sweet gift laid in front of it are slipping by so quickly. I hope she knows how dear she is to me.

  3. hmmmm – i honestly can not remember (sad – i know) i think it was a new bowling ball.
