Ingredients & Substitutions

  • Peaches: Look for a 16-ounce bag of frozen peach slices. Add the peaches to the blender while they are still frozen. This makes the smoothie thick and creamy without using ice, which can water down the flavor. Make sure your blender can handle frozen fruit! If you don’t have peaches, try swapping peaches for berries, mangoes, or even apples for a different flavor. Just keep in mind that it may change the taste and texture a bit.
  • Milk: Start with 1 1/4 cups whole milk in the smoothie. It’s easy to add more if needed to reach your desired consistency.
  • Yogurt: Plain Greek yogurt makes the smoothie creamy and adds protein to keep you full longer. It also gives the smoothie a slightly tangy flavor. If you don’t have Greek yogurt, you can use regular yogurt, cottage cheese, or even a banana for creaminess!
  • Oats: I used old-fashioned oats (rolled oats) in the smoothie. If you don’t have old-fashioned oats, you could use quick oats or substitute with chia seeds for a similar texture.
  • Honey: Honey sweetens the smoothie and makes it taste extra delicious. It also adds a little natural flavor. If you don’t have honey, use maple syrup, agave nectar, or a little sugar as substitutes. Adjust the amount of honey to reach your desired level of sweetness.
  • Flavor & Spices: Vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg work together to give each sip of the smoothie its warm flavor. It’s like a treat with a little spice!

Can I Use Fresh or Canned Peaches Instead Of Frozen Peaches In This Smoothie?

Yes, you can use fresh or canned peaches instead of frozen peaches in this smoothie. If you use canned peaches, make sure to drain them first and check that they don’t have added sugar. The smoothie might not be as thick, but you can add a few ice cubes to make it colder and thicker.

How To Make Your Peach Cobbler Smoothie Thicker or Thinner

You can make your Peach Cobbler Smoothie thicker by adding more frozen peaches, ice cubes, or oats. To make it thinner, just add more milk or water until it is the right consistency for you.

Can I Add Protein Powder To This Peach Cobbler Smoothie?

Yes, you can add protein powder to the smoothie! It’s a great way to make the smoothie more filling and boost its protein content. Just add a scoop of your favorite protein powder and blend it in. If it changes the texture, I like to add a little more milk or water to adjust.

Can I Make This Smoothie Ahead Of Time?

Sure! If you want to make the peach cobbler smoothie ahead of time, first, blend all of the ingredients. Then, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will last up to 1-2 days. If it thickens too much in that time, just add a little milk to thin it out before drinking.

This wasn't bad. I am not always a fan of peach treats, but this had just the right amount of peachy flavor when mixed with the other ingredients.

Not bad! I liked how filing it was with nutritional ingredients. I would add a little protein powder to mine.
