Lemon Vodka Prosecco

You will not even realize that you are drinking alcohol (which could be dangerous) when you are sipping on this refreshing drink. It is definitely a drink that is perfect for many occasions. It is a bubbly cocktail for ringing in the new year. It’s also an ice-cold drink to enjoy on a hot summer day.

Lemon Vodka Prosecco Ingredients

Vodka: Choose your favorite brand of vodka for this drink. I prefer it to be chilled before adding it to the glass.

Prosecco: Prosecco is a sparkling white wine made from Glera grapes. You could substitute champagne in the drink, but champagne is made from different grapes. Try it in my Creamsicle Prosecco as well.

Lemon Sorbet: Sorbet is a frozen dessert that is made from fruit and sugar–no dairy. Lemon sorbet has a tartness that is perfect when added to the drink. It also keeps your drink nice and cold. You could also try some other sorbet flavors.

Can I Make This Without Alcohol?

If you would like a family-friendly (non-alcoholic) version of the drink, leave out the vodka and replace the Prosecco. For the Prosecco, there are many varieties of non-alcoholic sparkling white wines to choose from. Pour it over the lemon sorbet and sip away!

  1. Can I mix the vodka and Prosecco ahead of time and then add the lemon sorbet to each glass. Or can I mix all as a punch?
