Peach Dump Cake is probably the easiest sweet treat to make of all time. Just three total ingredients and a few effortless steps and dessert is served! You may also love my Peach Skillet Cake as well!
Peach Dump Cake
The genius that decided to dump a bunch of dessert staples into a pan and see what happens next deserves an award.ย They are my hero!ย Dump cakes are a dream recipe for busy moms and dads.ย ย For those days when just getting through the door is a chore, you can still impress the entire family with a tasty dessert that doesn’t take much effort from you.ย ย The prep for this delicious peach dump cake recipe is five minutes.ย I’ll say it louder, FIVE MINUTES.ย No mess, no fuss, just dump it in the pan and go.
Can you Make Crockpot Peach Dump Cake?
You can and you should!ย It is literally the exact same recipe and instructions, except you use a crockpot instead of the skillet and an oven.ย For this method, you will put the peach pie filling in the bottom of a greased crockpot,ย top with the cake, and then butter, and then cover and cook on high for 2 hours or on low for 4.ย You can get the same great-tasting results with a slow cooker as with cooking in the oven.ย This is a great option if you are already using up some of your precious oven space!
Topping Ideas for Peach Dump Cake
The basic topping choices for a peach dump cake are whipped cream or ice cream.ย Within those two categories, there are a few variations that can really take this dump cake to a whole new level.ย ย For the ice cream, we almost always have vanilla or vanilla bean as a staple in our freezer.ย The vanilla ice cream is a perfect complement to the buttery, cakey, peach flavors in the dump cake.
Homemade Whipped Cream
Making your own whipped cream is probably one of the top recommendations that I will ever give you when discussing homemade desserts. I have traditional homemade whipped cream and stabilized whipped cream should you want to make this dessert ahead of time!

Iโve made many different combinations of the dump cake through out the years! Quick easy cake for taking for any occasion. Iโve also used sugar free pie filling with sugar free cake mix, itโs nice to remember not everyone can eat desserts because of the sugar!!
How does the sugarfree one come out as good as the regular one
Iโm interested as well
Thank you for this question, my husband is diabetic but loves desserts.
I actually made this tonight in my slow cooker! Came out really great! My son really loved it! We did have vanilla ice cream to top it off when it was still warm! Yummy thank you
I like to make treats for my co-workers and the crock pot version is a favorite. I get to work 10-15 mins early and throw everything in the crockpot. I add fresh berries, usually black or blueberries to the crockpot. The hardest part is keeping others from taking the lid off the pot. Makes the breakroom smell great and shows others how easy cooking can be
Can you use white cake mix instead of yellow?
Sure
Hello,
I would like to know what size on the large skillet and also on the baking dish you mention in your recipe.
Thanks very much!!
It can be a 10-12inch skillet or 9×13 baking dish.
Hi there. Is there a difference between peach pie filling and regular peaches in can or jar?
What size baking pan?
A large skillet or 9×13 baking pan.
Can you put the ingredients together and leave in fridge about 24 hours prior to baking? Iโm trying to prepare things early so all I have to do is bake it.
