Raspberry Cheesecake Dip is a creamy, fluffy blend of cream cheese, whipped topping, and raspberry gelatin, loaded with fresh raspberries. It is perfect for dipping shortbread cookies or vanilla wafers, and the garnish of whole raspberries gives the dip a show-stopping finish! If you love this creamy, dreamy dip, you will also enjoy my Strawberry Dream Dip! It’s just as creamy, with sweet strawberries replacing the raspberries.
Ingredients & Substitutions
- Cream Cheese: Before making this dip, let the cream cheese come to room temperature.
How To Soften Cream Cheese Quickly
Warm Water Method: Place the wrapped block of cream cheese in a bowl of warm water for about 10-15 minutes. Flip it over every few minutes or so.
Microwave Method: Remove the cream cheese from its packaging and place it on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave it on low power in 15-20-second intervals until it reaches the desired softness. Be careful not to overheat it, as cream cheese can quickly become too runny or even melt.
- Whipped Topping: To make the raspberry dip light and fluffy, I added whipped topping. You can use an 8-ounce container of store-bought whipped topping or make homemade whipped cream!
- Raspberry Gelatin: To give the dip a little color and sweet raspberry flavor, use 3 tablespoons of raspberry gelatin, like Jell-O™. That is about half a 3-ounce box, so lucky you, you make another batch of this raspberry dream dip!
- Raspberries: I used a pound of fresh raspberries. Chop up most of the berries, but reserve a few whole raspberries for the garnish.
- Vanilla Extract: The vanilla extract adds a sweet, warm flavor to the dip. It helps balance the tart raspberries and makes the dip taste even better. If you don’t have vanilla, you can use almond extract, vanilla syrup, or even raspberry extract for a fun twist!
Can I Use Frozen Raspberries?
Yes, you can use frozen raspberries instead of fresh berries! If using frozen berries, be sure to thaw them before adding them to the dip. I like to drain any excess liquid to avoid making the dip too runny.

Can I Use A Different Kind Of Gelatin In Raspberry Cheesecake Dip?
Yes, you can use a different kind of gelatin! Swap the raspberry gelatin for other fruit-flavored options like strawberry, blueberry, or peach, and add the corresponding fruit pieces for a fresh twist. You can even mix and match flavors, like strawberry and blueberry, for a fun combination! Just use 3 tablespoons total for the right texture.
