This cake is a combination of my Original Rose Cake (video tutorial) and my Original Hydrangea Cake.
You may remember this little hydrangea cake I did.
Or maybe even my rose cake.
I decided to just put them together and see what happened.
I dont know! What do you think???
I kinda like it! 🙂
I don’t know whether i want to wear it on my head or eat it. Maybe both…
I hope you’re not disappointed by the actual royal wedding cake. I hear it’s going to be a traditional English fruit cake. Blech! I’d be first in line for some of that chocolate biscuit groom’s cake.
Either way, yours is lovely.
I just told my girls I wish I knew you when I got married, because I could have had you make my cake! One of your cakes, especially the rose cake, knocks the socks off any fondant cake (IMO!)that are so the rage now-a-days.
What a beautiful cake! I have followed your blog for a little while now and I am amazed how you find the time to bake such wonderful cakes with a newborn at home! I am expecting my second baby any day now and hoping I’ll find time to bake inbetween nappy changing and breastfeeding! You are def a huge inspiration!
B E A U TIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! You never cease to amaze me. You are one talented chick and I love the way you dedicated it to all the brides who might possibly be over shadowed just because their wedding happens to fall on the same weekend as the royal wedding. I want to get married again just so you can make my cake….but SHHH don’t tell my mom who made my wedding cake the first time around! 🙂
So incredibly gorgeous and such a beautiful message to brides to be everywhere!
Soo beautiful – what an amazing cake! I wish I had this at my wedding : )
Spectacular! Truly fit for royalty!
An absolutely stunning and gorgeous cake. So befitting for a royal wedding party.
It’s breath-taking…beyond gorgeous.
