When you see this site.  Seriously… the amount of detail…

I saw this listed on Cop Mama's site (shes a Cop so shes knows her stuff)

You need to go to:

RIGHT NOW, enter your name and see if your personal info is listed.
If so, scroll down to the VERY bottom and click on "privacy" to request to remove it.

It is a clearinghouse of info and may include:
A MAP OF YOUR HOUSE
YOUR BIRTHDATE
YOUR CHILDREN'S NAMES
YOUR SPOUSE'S NAME

And other personal information you may not feel comfortable letting the whole world know about you!

Thank you Cop Mama for this info… I went and removed Chad's name. (I was not listed)  I just cant get over the amount of detail on there!  As a blogger…well it was just scary!

  1. Yikes!
I had some weird-o leaving creepy comments so I don’t let anyone know our real names over on my blog.
I hate creepy people. Boo, creepy people! Boo!

  2. I couldn’t see anyplace that says privacy. Do you have to join (and pay their monthly fee) to be able to get off their list?

  3. If it’s any consolation, I just did it and it was WAY off on our personal information. Still, some of the things they were able to get their hands on is weird creepy. We couldn’t find the privacy thing either, but I’d love to know how to remove our names from the list.

  4. Some things were wrong, but the interests were creepy accurate. My age was WAY off but still… oh my gosh.

  5. Spokeo is so creepy. The thing that really weirds me out is when it connects to your amazon wishlist!

  6. holy crap. your right i am just about freaking out. They know that our house has central air. They know ages. They know how long we have lived here. I didnt even know that! This is crazy!
