I've been playing around with actions and layers and selective exposure increases and curves and a bunch of other stuff.

~ Our most basic instinct is not for survival but for family. Most of us would give our own life for the survival of a family member, yet we lead our daily life too often as if we take our family for granted. ~

  1. Those are great. I am loving all the beautiful backgrounds you have. That white chair is fabulous and I love outdoor pics. I have to take my sons 4 year pics on Sunday. Wish I had that chair.

  2. These look really good! I have had photoshop for a really long time and I still don’t have it all figured out. The book that I found to be pretty good is by Deke McClelland and its called Adobe Photoshop CS3 one-on-one. There is a dvd included and it walks you through each of the lessons. I would probably know a lot more than I do if I could actually sit down and do it everyday. I am sure he has other books for the different versions of photoshop, this is just the version I have.

  3. See – photoshop is not so bad! Love these photos. Keep up the great work.
One of my fav quite tweaks is to do Contol J (to copy the layer) and change mode from Normal to Screen, then reduce the opacity down a bit. Repeat the Contol J on the bottom layer again and this time change to Soft Light – reduce the opacity of this layer too.
Play around with the opacity of these layers for some subtle effects!
    Does that make any sense?

  4. Oh I just love those little baby feet! So sweet! I want to squeeze them!
Keep playing and practicing with that Photoshop, girl! I love seeing what you’re doing 🙂
    Have a good weekend friend.

  5. Your kids are absolutely beautiful! And your pictures incredible! I wish you could come to my house and take some photos:) I hope you’re well…miss you!
    You are so blessed!
    Molly
