This cake is a combination of my Original Rose Cake (video tutorial) and my Original Hydrangea Cake.
You may remember this little hydrangea cake I did.
Or maybe even my rose cake.
I decided to just put them together and see what happened.
I dont know! What do you think???
I kinda like it! 🙂
this is gorgeous! Love everything about it….how did u get the round hydrangea top done and which tip do you use for the hydrangea flowers?
I LOVE THE WORK YOU DO DONT LET ANYONE SAY DIFFERENT
“Women”? Don’t men bake???
So glad you found something to be offended about today! You must be a joy to be around.
2lbs of sugar seems a bit much… if I want it less sweet and use less sugar, will it affect the recipe to much…. is there another alternative?
Did you use a #104 for the hydrangeas? You do beautiful work❤
I’m having trouble keeping my rosettes , using tip 1M to stay on my cake. Big sections are always falling off
I love it. Does look royal.
Hi Amanda! Thank you for the buttercream decorating icing!!! I used to do so many cakes and I had a stroke and I still shake! I am going to “try” a sunflower bouquet for my daughters 47th birthday on the 18th and I forgot my recipe!!! Thank you soooo very much for posting your recipe sweetie! I do remember using a small amount of clear Almond and Butter also. It’s been years so if you are a Believer please say a prayer for me as I’m surprising her at work!!! God bless you real good Amanda. Debbie 🙏😘🙏
do u have a royal icing recipe?
Hi, Paulo and Lucy! I work with iambaker and am happy to help with questions. Here is a crusting buttercream recipe you could try. Have a wonderful day!
I just popped by to use your perfect white cake recipe for what may be. the 100th time….and I just wanted to say that I have been following your recipes for a number of years now; it is the first place I search when someone is looking for something new. Thanks for sharing and keep doing what you do!! (PS – love you Instagram fun too! 🙂 )
