Rudolph’s Tipsy Spritzer is a sweet drink that has vodka with grenadine, orange juice, maraschino cherry juice, and cherry lemon-lime soda. It is similar to my Christmas Punch but made in individual servings. It’s a refreshing and festive cocktail that is perfect for holiday gatherings or any celebration where a colorful and tasty drink is desired!
Ingredients & Substitutions
Vodka: Vodka is the alcoholic base of the cocktail. Choose your favorite brand. Or, substitute gin or tequila if preferred.
Grenadine: Grenadine is a sweet and brightly colored syrup made from pomegranate juice. It adds a rich, fruity sweetness to the cocktail and gives it a bright red color. If you don’t have grenadine, keep it simple and just use extra maraschino cherry juice or cherry lemon-lime soda! Easy!
Orange Juice: Freshly squeezed orange juice helps balance the sweetness of the other ingredients with its citrusy flavor.
Maraschino Cherry Juice: The sweet, syrupy juice from maraschino cherries complements the grenadine for more cherry flavor. Save the cherries for garnish!
Soda: To make this a spritzer, we need a little carbonation. I used cherry lemon-lime soda (like cherry 7-Up). Sparkling water, ginger ale, or lemon-lime soda would also add some fizz to the cocktail (but without the cherry flavor).
Can I Make This Cocktail Without Alcohol?
Yes, you can certainly make this without alcohol for a Rudolph’s (Not Tipsy) Spritzer Mocktail. Simply leave the vodka out of the mixture for a fizzy, refreshing drink for all ages to enjoy! Or, replace the alcohol with club soda, sparkling water, or lemon-lime soda.
Large Batch Rudolph’s Tipsy Spritzer
If making this cocktail for a party or gathering, make a large batch in advance. To make the drink, first, multiply the ingredients by how many drinks you expect to serve. Then, mix all of the ingredients (except the cherry lemon-lime soda), in a large pitcher or bowl. Let it chill in the refrigerator for a couple of hours, up to 3-4 days before serving. When serving, add the soda for the fizziness. Serve over glasses of ice with maraschino cherries for garnish.

What a lovely drink to serve during the holidays with its vibrant red color! It's a cocktail on the sweeter side, but very refreshing. And, I love the carbonation from the soda.
Bella
This is incredibly vibrant and bursting with flavor! This is a sweet and fruity drink that is great for gatherings!
Selena
This is so fun and yummy. I love the vibrant color! It's so festive and it's soooo easy to drink.
I don’t understand the 2 oz of Marciano cherry juice. You would have to buy a ton of jars for a gathering.
They sell straight cherry juice. Itโs not grenadine. Thatโs a different thing.
Hello. If I make a pitcher of this. How much soda do you put in?
Just fill up the pitcher. ๐
