UPDATED: Â Tutorial Here!
Its hard for me to believe that Christmas is almost here. Â Just a few short days away!
I have been so behind on all my baking (as well as buying gifts, cleaning my house, homeschooling, debating crumbs… you name it!) Â but I still wanted to make a dessert that folks would enjoy. Â At least, I hope they do!
This took all of one hour to make. Â From beginning to end.
I slaved and slaved over a hot stove for at least seven minutes.
And for the inside, well that was even more ridiculous hard work.
I actually had to get in there and play with my food! Â Well, play with the rice krispy’s that is!
Can you tell what it is?
It’s a snow globe with a snowman inside. Â Next time I will definitely make the black hat for Mr. Snowman. Â He seems a little naked without it. Â And make his eyes. Â And a carrot nose. Â Well, maybe he seems naked cause he is naked.
I gotta stop saying naked!
Anywho, I would be delighted to share a tutorial on this cake with you, hopefully next week! Â Is anyone going to be around next week?
What all do you do over your Christmas break? Â Going anywhere fun?
Happy, joyous & festive holiday to you & your family!!
I love it!
A suggestion Amanda if I may. Instead of just I am Baker Updates in the subjest line…perhaps you could also mention the topic. I save all your emails but have a difficult time finding what I want when I need it. So perhaps you could say today for instance..”.I am Baker…Snow Globe Cake”
You are very creative and obviously a great baker. I love getting your emails. Blessed and Merry Christmas and a most wonderful New Year!
Of COURSE I can tell it’s a snowman in a snowglobe! You’re something else, Amanda, something great:) I look forward to seeing the tutorial and what you have in store next. Next week I will be visiting my son and his family in Las Vegas and trying out the macarons at the Bouchon Bakery:)
