My last party, a girls’ brunch, I coordinated everything by using classic dishes, with just a pop of color for fun.

I pick a theme, use coordinating colors and printables, and ensure that everything matches!
wow that cake is a piece of art i would choose a beautiful centerpiece with fresh flowers, nice napkin holders, and lots of pastel colors.

like everyone else I too start with the colors and theme. I also find that it is good to simplify like instead of doing all flowers pick just one type like dasies and then you can really make that one thing pop with simple lean coordinating colors.
I like to stick with a theme and then pick out colors, if I do pastels then I don’t mind doing a ton of different colors, or neutrals or neons. I love that with patterns anything really goes now days.

I usually use accents of colors throughout the decor to reflect the party’s theme vs. using nothing but party colors.
Gorgeous cakes!! I like going with a theme — like pastels — and making everything work off of it.
