most of the kitchen items, dishware and serving pieces that i own are the same colors, so it is easy for me to coordinate.
I like to start with simple table settings (white plates) and accent with colored napkins – sometimes in coordinated but non-matching colors.
I set my dining table with a themed matching set of linens and tableware, along with a beautiful centerpiece. I plan a themed menu and have a strategic guest list.
For special occasions, we coordinate with matching colors or themes with decor, tableware, and even desserts. We try to have a combination of things that go well together and sometimes with matching patterns.
I don’t coordinate. I don’t know why it just isn’t one of my talents.
only way i can get coordinated is to purchase a theme all together
If the event is on or near a holiday I coordinate to the holiday.
My wife does the planning
I don’t coordinate. I just slap some snack on a table. Have at it
