Copycat Starbucks Strawberry Frappuccino
Frappucinos are iced, blended drinks trademarked by Starbucks that can be made with or without coffee. You can even buy frappuccinos at most grocery stores and convenience stores. But, why wait in line or even leave your house to enjoy this copycat Starbucks Strawberry Frappuccino. It’s easy to make at home so you can enjoy the refreshing beverage anytime!
Strawberry Frappuccino Ingredients
Strawberries: It all starts with fresh strawberries for this recipe. To prepare the strawberries, be sure to wash them thoroughly and gently pat them dry. After you have washed the strawberries, remove the leafy green parts of the berries.
This is called โhullingโ the strawberries. Instead of simply cutting off the tops straight across, insert a sharp knife at an angle and rotate the strawberry in a circle until the stem pulls out. If using frozen strawberries, let them thaw in a colander and pat them dry before pureeing.
Milk:ย Whole milk will give you the creamiest drink; but, you could definitely use any milk you have on hand. For a drink with fewer calories, use skim milk or 1% milk.
Strawberry Syrup: For the best strawberry flavor, make your own strawberry simple syrup!
Whipped Cream: This drink is topped off with whipped cream, or cool whip. Make your own homemade whipped cream to use.
Can I Make this Caffeinated?
Absolutely! The traditional strawberry frappuccino from Starbucks is not caffeinated, however, you could easily add a shot of espresso to your frappuccino for a boost!

If you want to make this with coffee, how much and where do you add it in the recipe?
I would start pretty small… a tablespoon or 2. It can overpower the strawberry pretty quickly.
Easy to make and looks delicious!!
I love your recipes!!!! Always a hit!
Looks yummy. I have a question about the strawberry syrup. Is it the kind you put in coffee drinks? Thank you.
Hi, Susan! I work with iambaker and am happy to help with questions. We used Hershey’s Strawberry syrup in this recipe. I hope that helps, and have a great day!
What if I want a chocolate flavor
So delicious. It even tastes like a milkshake without the ice cream.
Decent recipe, but itโs lacking something that makes it as good as Starbucks. Maybe needs some more sweetener or strawberry flavor, either more berries or more syrup.
I alwas get a Starbucks Strawberry Frappuccino and spend my money but now I can save some money and make it at home
Omg I absolutely love this way better than Starbucks anyway and it was way cheeper
I am just gonna put some straw berries, ice, milk and ice cream to blend then whippup some whip cream and enjoy.
