I have got a ton of fun, new ideas for cakes and cookies and treats this year, but I RAN OUT OF TIME!!  Mothers Day is just a few short days away!!

So, here is a round up of some of the ideas I have had in the past.  The cookie one is still my favorite.  Might be my favorite of all time.  But then again, I love cookies.

    I plan on doing a lemon cake with the white hydrangea frosting. I’m going to add little yellow dots to the centers of the hydrangeas. I know that’s not what they really look like, but I think it will be pretty and keep the cake from looking too wedding-y.

    A very sweet roundup. I tried to work with traditional royal icing today (I have been using my own version of your version of icing – did that make sense?). Royal icing is like marshmallow fluff on crack. I’m definitely heading back to the corn syrup…
